Father's Day Weekend - Activities for June 10-16

Monday, June 10 – Friday, June 14       

5-7pm                    Basketball Camp- Enjoy a five-day camp for kids, ages 6-18, to learn the basics, play games, make new friends, and more at Tappan Lake Park!  Camp will take place from 5 to7pm every day at the Basketball Courts.  Cost is $20 per participant and includes instruction, t-shirt, snack, and an unforgettable experience at camp! 

Tuesday, June 11

3:30-4:30pm          Wii Games- Meet in the Nature Center and play Wii Games.

Thursday, June 13

12-4:30pm             Open Nature Center- Explore live animals in Nature Center and ask questions!  

Friday, June 14

12-2:30pm             Explores of Nature- Meet at the Nature Center to start your Nature   Scavenger Hunt. Learn how to identify different things in nature and the chance to win a prize. Kids will be put into groups and will be exploring on their own.

3-4pm                    Flag Suncatcher and Trivia- Meet us in the Nature Center to make a unique flag suncatcher and to learn flag trivia. (Kid)

Saturday, June 15

8-11                       Fathers’ Day Fishing Tournament- Meet near the boat ramp in Tappan Lake Park to register from 8-8:30 a.m. The fishing will start directly following with the deadline at 11 a.m. This is a free tournament for shoreline and boat fishing. Prizes will be awarded, and additional information will be posted.

1-5                         Open Nature Center- Explore the live animals in the Nature Center, while enjoying/ creating a delicious flag snack.

6-7pm                    Flag Décor- Join us in the Nature Center to create a Flag Sign to honor Flag Day. (Adult)

7:30-8:30pm          Adult BINGO - Bring a $2 gift to the Activity Center. Ages 18 and over.

Sunday, June 16

10-11am          Explores of Nature- Join us in the Nature Center to take part in an interactive animal matching activity. (All Ages)
