Passport to Fishing at Tappan Lake Park

Learn how to fish at this introductory course that will cover casting, fishing knots and rigging, fish habitat and handling, and local information. For ages 5-15. First time participants will receive a rod and reel (based upon availability) and everyone is encouraged to go fishing in Tappan Lake as part of the event. Rods and reels are provided by ODNR Division of Wildlife.

Meet at the Nature Center.  Bring your own equipment or complete the program to receive a rod and reel!  Bait will be provided. Children must be accompanied by an adult; adult participation is encouraged. Preregistration is required; space is limited. More information about the time of the event is to come!
