The first lottery was conducted on Saturday, March 5 for CURRENT seasonal campers who were interested in obtaining a different seasonal campsite at Tappan Lake Park.
The nearly $6 million renovation to the MWCD Tappan Lake Marina and Restaurant is complete! The community is invited to tour the facility on Saturday, October 9, 2021.

On May 22, 2020 the Board of Directors of the MWCD, authorized the advertisement for bids for the renovation of the Tappan Marina Building and related site work. Bids for the project will be opened June 24th.
This fall, customers of Tappan Lake Marina will begin to see the first steps of a complete renovation of the MWCD-owned and operated facility.

The MWCD is now hiring for a variety of seasonal positions and will be hosting a Seasonal Job Fair on March 2, from 4 to 7pm. The event will be held at Tappan Lake Park's Activity Center. Hunting, particularly deer hunting, is a popular activity on Muskingum Watershed Conservancy District (MWCD) property. Wildlife found throughout MWCD public access lands includes deer, wild turkey, squirrel, rabbit, waterfowl and other migratory game.
Children, ages 4 to 15, are invited to be an "Explorer of Nature"! Our park naturalist will offer Explorers of Nature every Saturday, from 10am-12pm, through August 5.
